• 职位描述：
  Role Purpose:
  
  Provide product application engineering support for customers and end-users. Promote and assist in the development of new applications using HC product technology with PM and PF powders. Provide assistance in review of product specifications.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  The Application Engineer is the primary technical interface between Hoeganaes Corporation and our China customers and the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  
  • Assisting customers with material and process selection.
  • Working on material and process related problems with customers.
  • Providing assistance to quality and operations personnel in preparing responses to customer concerns and complaints.
  • Developing and maintaining premix specifications and communicating issues related to premix and base powder specifications to customers and to Hoeganaes operations and quality personnel.
  • Direct Danyang quality Lab in support of HC China market service mixing plant.
  • Providing assistance with technical training programs and technical seminars for customers and end-users of powder metallurgy products.
  
  • Support selection and development of Technical Engineers, Asia region
  • Making technical presentations to promote new Hoeganaes Corporation products and processes.
  • Attending technical conferences and seminars.
  • Interface with Hoeganaes Corporation R&D personnel on new product and process developments.
  • Provide technical support for Sales & Marketing personnel.
  
  • Regular visits to existing customers and occasional visits to potential customers along with occasional visits to Hoeganaes Corporation plants in connection with development and production programs.
  •
  This position reports to the Sales Director - China. The office location will be at the Hoeganaes Office in GKN Industries, Shanghai, China.
  
  Qualifications / Experience / Skills
  BS degree in metallurgy, material science, or related engineering discipline.
  More than five years experience in the field of ferrous powder metallurgy.
  Experience in customer technical service is advantageous.
  
  Excellent written and oral skills are necessary.
  
  Computer literacy is required.
  Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for formal education requirements.
